Handbook for the Canadian citizenship test

This handbook covers what the Canadian citizenship test asks about: rights and responsibilities, Canada's people, history, how government works, and national symbols. It follows the topics of the official study guide, Discover Canada: The Rights and Responsibilities of Citizenship. We wrote every lesson ourselves in plain English. Nothing is copied from the official guide.

Each lesson is short and lists the sources we checked, such as official government pages or Wikipedia. Read a topic, then answer its practice questions. The first chapter, Rights and responsibilities, is free.

CitizenPass is independent and not part of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). The questions in the real test come from the official guide, so read it as well.
